Education
I am a freshman at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and am majoring in organizational management, with a double minor in marketing and communications. I currently have a 3.31 GPA and am currently enrolled with 19 credits, one of those being a teaching assistant position in a public speaking course.
Experience
I have never tutored in my life, but I always find my friends coming to me for help on math or for paper revisions at college. I received a 24 on my ACT, with a 28 in my math section, and and 8 on my writing section. Last semester, I got an A- in my college writing course and feel that writing is one of my strong suits. Having some skills that are more polished than others is a nice thing to have, and I enjoy helping others when I can, so being a tutor would be an ideal way for me to help other students that are having difficulty in certain courses. I've worked at Wells Fargo Brokerage Firm and have worked over two years at taco Bell, I found the Taco Bell job to be very rewarding, because I was able to have a small, but good impact on a lot of customers days.

Hobbies
I've played soccer since I was 4 and made the varsity soccer team my senior year in high school. I also have found a new passion, curling, quite possibly one of the coolest and most challenging sports I have seen. I love anything sports for the most part, I also love volunteering. I volunteer at the Aftenro assisted living facility in Duluth and I also volunteer and mentor elementary aged students at Nettleton elementary school in Duluth. I consider myself quite outgoing and caring, so working with others is a great fit for me. I also was tutored as a junior in high school for pre-calculus, I noticed my improvements and I think that I can do the same for another student that is having difficulty in a certain area of study.
