Experience
I was a tutor for science and math classes during my Junior and Senior year at Spooner High School. I enjoy helping others and would love to help others get interested in the broad subject of science. I took the ACT and received a composite score of 25, but received a 28 in the Science category. As I said, I am a transfer student from Lac Courte Orielles Ojibwe Community College in Hayward, Wisconsin. While at LCO Community College, I took a broad range of science courses including Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Hydrology, and Ecology. I finished with a GPA of 3.92 and made the Dean's List one semester and the President's Honor List the other. While attending Spooner High School, I took honor level classes in physics, biology, chemistry, geography,and psychology. While attending LCO Community College, I took 1st place in a Native American National Science Bowl Competition against all other tribal colleges in the country. I have always loved science, and I see this as a great way to not only share the wonders of understanding science related studies, but also finding out if I would someday enjoy being a High School Chemistry teacher.
