Education
Senior (by credit), but I won't graduate for a while because I am double majoring in biology(pre-med) and psychology. I attend the College of Saint Scholastica. My current GPA is around 3.57. I recieved all A's and was on the Dean's List last semester. I have been on the Dean's List several times in the last three years. In high school, I was on the Honor Roll all four years.
Experience
One of the positions I hold on campus is that of an Academic Role Model. Therefore, as part of my job, I help students with a variety of academic concerns including time management, organization, general homework questions, study skills, test taking skills, writing/english, approaching professors, and overall acadmic advisement. I spend a lot of my time editing college papers. Over the last three years, I have noticed a marked decrease in the amount of skill first year students possess in this area. I feel that the sooner a student recieves help in a weak area, the easier it is to overcome. I also tutor students regularly in the subjects that I am most comfortable in, and in subjects that I can teach effectively. I also tutored a number of students while in high school. I enjoy teaching students. Tutoring is fulfilling. It enables me to help students understand complex material, and keeps the material fresh and exciting for me as well. While I enjoy teaching all of the subjects listed above, I really enjoy working with students on developing their writing skills. I've taken a large variety of courses over my college career so far. If your interested in my services, I am more than willing to send you a complete list of my past classes. However, to give you some idea as to my area of expertise, I will give you a brief summary. I've taken a large number of courses in biology and psychology. I've taken three writing courses, and have written an extensive amount of papers. I have taken a variety of chemistry courses, enough that I might minor in the subject if I take any further classes. I have also completed all of my general education requirements.

Hobbies
I enjoy reading for pleasure, hiking, playing badminton, watching television, and hanging out with friends. I'm a rather serious person. I know how to have fun, but my definition of fun seems to differ from many of my peers. I like playing board games, going to the movies, going out to dinner, or going to a concert. I volunteered a lot in high school, and I have volunteered off and on since then. However, as school has taken up more and more time, I have not been able to volunteer as much as I would like.
