-Tutor for middle-schooler at the Valley Youth Center. Teacher's assistant for UMD Seminar for over 2 semesters. -I want to be a tutor because I love to help others. It's my dream and goal to inspire and help others be progressive and successful in their education. I love making a difference in people's lives. -Relevant classes I've taken include all generals, and UMD Seminar. -I've worked in the Students in Transition office for over a year, mostly in aiding freshmen with their college integration experience. I've advised for UMD and also spoken on panels to high-schoolers about college. I've gained leadership credits in volunteering for UMD's orientation week. I'm also a program assistant in a group home, so I have much experience working with all types of people.
