The Orton-Gillingham Approach is the gold star for working with students with dyslexia and reading difficulties. Because of my own children's struggle with writing, I'm also trained in numerous writing programs.
I assist parents in understanding the 504/IEP process. Routinely teach three community ed classes: Dyslexia-What a Parent Needs to Know, Dysgraphia-What a Parent Needs to Know, Struggling Learner - How Can a Parent Help.
